They took us to what they called a "Local Police Station", but it was like no police station that we had ever seen. I think it was more the equivalent of our Department of Homeland Security. Here we applied for Elizabeth's passport.

Elizabeth was happy to sit on her Daddy's lap.

Riding through Guangzhou you see row upon row. . .

Block upon block of housing for the millions of people who live in the city.

And everywhere the laundry drying outside the windows.

At ground level, you see one small shop after another each seeming to specialize in a few specific items.

But there is still greenery preserved within the big city growing in any patch of earth that can sustain plant life.
